Russian Bar Faculty Moscow Legal Center has been a basis of Russian Bar Guild since the date of its establishment in March 1989 and accommodates two buildings in the city of Moscow.

Bar Association Moscow Legal Center established Migration Center to render legal services related to the issues of migration law of the Russian Federation, passport and visa services to natural persons, solve any issues of movement of foreign citizens and persons without nationality related to their entrance to the Russian Federation, transit through the Russian Federation, movement around the territory of the Russian Federation and choice and change of accommodation in the territory of the Russian Federation or exit from the Russian Federation. Services are rendered to Russian companies, foreign representations in passport-visa support and international migration law, assistance in creation of necessary environment for the foreign citizens to exercise their rights and freedoms as well as implementation of their duties.

At present there are more than 150 bar faculties, law agencies and offices indifferent entities of the Russian Federation are integrated into the Guild.

Since its establishment the Moscow Legal Center has successfully integrated legal support and audit services, legal diligence of economic analysis with practical support in prevention from negative legal aftereffects of undue execution of such activity.

Moscow Legal Center developed an economic and legal methodology of rendering assistance to entrepreneurs. It is active in legal support to privatization, lien, leasing, taxation and foreign economic activity.

The lawyers of Moscow Legal Center successfully protect the rights and lawful interests of not only Russian citizens, but citizens of the former SU and other foreign countries. In the process of its work it established reliable links with its foreign counterparts.

On the initiative and with organizational support of Moscow Legal Center they regularly conducted scientific and practical conferences of the lawyer community in Moscow. At the conferences and workshops they discussed the issues of legal support under conditions of establishing market economy and entrepreneurship under conditions of transition to the market economy.

Russian Bar Guild actively cooperates with the public and human right organizations: International Union of Lawyers, Federal Union of the Lawyers of Russia, International Non-Government Union, Union of Lawyers, Center for Human Rights, Bar Unions of Russia and Moscow, and Moscow Club of Lawyers. The Russian Bar Guild is a member of the International Bar Association (IВА) and a number of other international organizations. Authorized permanent representatives of the Guild are working in the USA, Canada, Spain, Israel, Great Britain and other countries.

Lawyers Of Our Faculty Secured Judgments
Of Acquittalin The Notorious Case
Of The Physicians

On March 1, 2005 all accused in the Moscow Urban Court of Justice were discharged due to lack of elements of crime. Our lawyers participated in the proceedings: lawyers Ye. Antonova and A. Yegorov.

On November 2, 2005 the lawyers of our Faculty Ye. Antonova and A. Yegorov repeatedly secured a judgment of acquittal.

The doctors were accused in illegal transplantation of donor’s organs. The proceedings were initiated three years ago: the attorney’s office tried to prove that the surgeons planned to take kidneys for transplantation from still alive patient. The accused gave an outright denial.

The Moscow Urban Court decided twice in their favor and acquitted the accused. The attorney’s office every time lodged a protest.

December 21 2006. The Supreme Court declined a repeated claim of the attorney’s office to a new rehearing and upheld the acquittal for all physicians.

At the annual ceremony of award of the Golden Medal named after F. Plevako they shot a 13-minute film “The First Among the Peers”.. The Russian Bar Guild with support of the Federal Bar Chamber celebrated 140-th anniversary of Russian practice of law.

Employment Permits

If your company or employee needs an employment permit, then Migration Center experts will provide legal assistance in preparation and submission of the required documents to the entities of the FMS of the Russian Federation for issue of permit documentation (i.e. right to exercise labor activity in the Russian Federation).

An employment permit will be executed by the Migration Center within 7 days. Employment permit execution term depends on citizenship of foreign expert. Employment permits for the citizens of the former Soviet Union are executed within 7 working days and for the foreign citizens this term is 35 calendar days.

If an employment permit is executed for more than 20 people, then our Center provides tangible discount.

The area of the permit’s effect is dependent on actual site of labor activity. Organization that is registered in Moscow and carries out its activity the Moscow Region is processed in the FMS of the Region and visa versa.

In case such activity is carried out in several regions, it becomes expedient to execute an employment permit for all these regions (up to five regions in one permit card)
